In February 2025, KYM organized a meaningful CSR initiative at Dewan Haji Mat Silin aimed at fostering community engagement and uplifting underprivileged children in the Mukim of Beranang. The event brought together residents from the nearby villages and featured a scam awareness talk delivered by a representative from the Association of Banks Malaysia.

Interactive elements such as exhibition booths, children’s colouring contest and Q&A sessions kept the atmosphere lively and exciting. The exhibition booth set up by the Carton Box division of the Group also served as a platform to introduce our products and share information on internship and industrial placement opportunities for fresh graduates. As part of the “Back to School” program, KYM also distributed school supply kits, including school bags, water bottles, and stationery to selected underprivileged children.

In September 2024, KYM Holdings Bhd organized a successful blood donation drive, bringing together donors from within the company and the community. The response to the drive reflects not only the dedication of KYM’s employees but also the company’s efforts in contributing to the nation’s healthcare system.

The estimated impact of the donations is remarkable. From 85 donors who turned up, 56 donors were eligible to donate their blood. The blood collected has the potential to save up to 168 lives. Through this initiative, the company highlights the value of giving back and shows that businesses can actively contribute to society, beyond their commercial objectives, making a significant and lasting impact on the communities.
